PrintThe Locanda La Corte is situated in Calle Bressana, in the district of Castello, at a few steps from Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo, in the heart of the historic centre of Venice. The hotel enjoys a privileged situation for its tranquillity, and our guests can easily reach on foot both Saint Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge.
How to reach us:
By Train or by Car
If you arrive from the train station or Piazzale Roma (car terminal), you can take the water bus number 52, get off at the stop Fondamenta Nuove (the nearest stop to our hotel), turn left and follow the street along the lagoon for about 200 metres. After have crossed the second bridge turn right and follow the street along the canal of the Hospital until you reach Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo. Here on the right side of the Rosa Salva pastry shop, you can find Calle Bressana: 50 metres and you are arrived. You have to pay attention and ask exactly for the line 52 for Fondamenta Nuove. At every stop you can buy the tickets.
FROM THE AIRPORT
From the Marco Polo Airport you can take a bus until you reach Piazzale Roma, then you can take the water bus line 52 and follow the indication upon described.
ATTENTION: this service for the Fondamenta Nuove works only in the time section from 11.18 to 19.18, every hour, and can change according to the period.
In any other case you have to get off at the S.Marco stop and ask information for Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, 15 minutes walking (you can look also the map on our website).
TAXI
With the water taxi you can arrive directly in front of the door of the Hotel, because it is furnished with a water entrance. You can take the water taxi from the Airport (about 30 minutes), train station and Piazzale Roma (about 15 minutes). You have to ask for the Locanda, situated in Fondamenta dei Felzi Calle Bressana Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo.
